Associate Professor Bradley Moggridge is a proud Murri from the Kamilaroi Nation living on Ngunnawal Land and is a researcher in Indigenous water science with qualifications in hydrogeology (22yrs IAH membership) and environmental science. He is in the final stages of his PhD candidature at the University of Canberra. Moggridge is a Board member with the NSW EPA and Biodiversity Council and a member of the Wentworth Group of Concerned Scientists, a Governor of WWF Australia and President of the Australian Freshwater Science Society. He is a Fellow of the Peter Cullen Trust and Alumni of the International Water Centre.

Dr Kim Spangler provides oversight of SERDP and ESTCP activities to develop and demonstrate innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable solutions to meet DoD's environmental challenges. She leads the strategic planning, technical competence, and transition facilitation in the areas of PFAS/AFFF, installation resilience/restoration, corrosion and repair technologies, munitions response, sustainable energetics, and emissions/waste reduction.Before her current role, Kim served as the Program Manager, Joint Department of Defense/Department of Energy Munitions Program (JMP) in the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering and was responsible for leading the JMP in developing and exploring advanced munitions concepts.

Lee was previously the inaugural CEO of Bushfire Recovery Victoria, and prior to that was a Deputy Secretary at the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning. He holds a Bachelor of Forest Science (with Honours), a Master of Business Administration,  is a Victorian Fellow of the Institute of Public Administration Australia and was awarded a Public Service Medal in the 2022 Australia Day honours for outstanding service to policy, regulation, and service delivery in Victoria, particularly in the area of environmental sustainability.

Lee has extensive experience and a record of delivery across policy, operations and regulation, having worked in the Victorian and NSW public services in the areas of public land management, fire and emergency management, and the environment.

She is an internationally recognised materials scientist, engineer, and inventor revolutionising recycling science. She is renowned for pioneering the high temperature transformation of waste in the production of a new generation of ‘green materials’ at the UNSW Sustainable Materials Research and Technology (SMaRT) Centre. She is the inventor of polymer injection technology, known as green steel, an eco-friendly process for using recycled tyres in steel production. In 2018, Veena launched the world's first e-waste MICROfactorieTM and in 2019 she launched her plastics and Green Ceramics MICROfactoriesTM, a recycling technology breakthrough.

Johan De Fraye, geologist by education, is the global head of environment, health & safety (EHS) at Signify (formerly Philips Lighting). He is responsible for all EHS aspects in operations as well as the clean-up and closure of Signify’s historic contaminated land legacy. He has over 30 years of experience working both for consultancies and industry, managing complex projects and international teams. He is also the chair of NICOLE, the European network of contaminated land professionals from industry, service providers and academia, and the NICOLE Foundation, which assists organisations with contaminated land issues that have no owner, funding or capacity.

L. Zambrana, Jr., PhD, has worked at EPA for 13½ years, and currently serves as a senior science advisor in ORD’s Center for Environmental Measurement and Modeling. Jose’s current duties include providing project management leadership on issues of concern such as emerging contaminants and recycled tire crumb rubber, catalyzing research and development partnerships that advance overall resilience, and more. Prior to joining EPA, José was a Science & Technology Policy Fellow with the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) where he focused on environmental justice, strategic planning, and spurring high-impact, transformative environmental science research. José received his doctorate in inorganic chemistry from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York (CUNY).

Ariane joined Ginkgo Advisor in 2017 as Investment Director and Head of Environment to manage the transition of European brownfield portfolios into sustainable real estate assets. Ariane started her career as a remediation engineer managing, leading and securing environmental legacy issues in private and public French properties. She then joined General Electric as International Remediation Manager for driving the remediation of impacted properties in Europe and Asia. Ariane holds a first Master's degree in Environmental Engineering from the French Mines School of Paris, a second in Urban Planning and a third in Biology and Geology from the French Scientist University.

Roy is an accomplished environmental portfolio manager and climate resiliency & sustainability thought leader with over 35-years’ experience working in environmental consulting and BP’s Remediation Management group. Roy is a former board member of the Sustainable Remediation Forum (SURF US), and has been a contributor to a variety of guidance documents, including: ASTM’s Standard Guide for Remedial Action Resiliency to Climate Impacts, ITRC’s Sustainable and Resilient Remediation, ITRC’s Remediation Management of Complex Sites, and ASTM’s Recognition and Derecognition of Environmental Liabilities.

Paula is the CSO and Quality Assurance Manager for the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality and is the co-team lead of the ITRC Contaminants of Emerging Concern working group. As CSO, Paula manages and provides subject matter expertise to the most complex contaminated sites in Arizona. She serves as a subject matter expert and strategic leader for ADEQ’s PFAS activities. She has a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering and a bachelor’s in Geology. Prior to her work in state government Ms. Panzino was a Principal Scientist at Haley & Aldrich and has managed, designed and applied many in-situ remedies for treatment of recalcitrant compounds at contaminated sites.

Dr. Scott Coffin is a research scientist and subject-matter expert for microplastics at the California State Water Resources Control Board, where he leads the agency’s efforts to monitor and manage microplastics pollution in drinking water and the environment. Dr. Coffin has been researching microplastics’ effects on aquatic organisms and humans since 2014, starting with his graduate research in environmental toxicology at the University of California, Riverside.

Paul Nathanail started working in risk based land management 30 years ago when he applied geostatistics to modelling large datasets of ground gas monitoring results. He pioneered the use of site specific bioaccessibility in human health risk assessment and routinely works on "big" data. Paul is Director of Land Quality Management Ltd (LQM) and offers specialist consultancy services across the world. He is a long standing member of ALGA and a CRC Care Fellow.

Rebecca is a Senior Hydrogeologist and currently serves as a Co-Chair of the Interstate Technology and Regulatory Council and President-Elect of the Minnesota Ground Water Association. As a state regulator, she is the technical lead for the PFAS Source Assessment and Feasibility in the East Metro under the 2018 3M Settlement and Superfund Consent Orders. Previously, she led contaminated site investigation and remediation projects including Brownfields redevelopment, petroleum, mercury, and asbestos contaminants. She is a licensed Professional Geologist and has a Bachelor of Science in Geology from North Dakota State University.

Since joining Montrose in 2015, he has led the company’s growth from ~25 offices and 500 employees in the United States to more than 90 offices and 3500 employees globally today. In July 2020, he led Montrose’s IPO on the New York Stock Exchange and serves as a director on its board. Previously, Mr. Manthripragada was the Chief Executive Officer of PetCareRx, Inc., and worked in investment banking at Goldman Sachs. Mr. Manthripragada received his MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and his BS from Duke University and Oxford University (UK).

Jochen’s research focuses on monitoring of trace organic pollutants, including pioneering work on sources, fate, monitoring techniques and trends in human exposure to trace contaminants. More recently his group has been leading research in the field of wastewater epidemiology. Jochen joined QAEHS in 1997 and was awarded an ARC Future Fellowship in 2012 to understand changes in chemical exposure through integrative sampling and systematic archiving. As part of his research program at QAEHS he has lead numerous national and international studies, such as a major study to investigate bush-fire emissions

Beau wants to be better at growing pumpkins, but in the meantime he runs around the place, paddles here and there, makes films and writes books. His PhD on expeditionary sea kayaking is a great door stop, and his two small girls are, he hates to admit it, the hardest adventure he’s ever had.

Kim Nimmer is a senior policy analyst with the City of Raleigh and was co-leader of the Interstate Technology and Regulatory Council’s Microplastics Team.  She currently co-leads one of the groups on ITRC’s Contaminants of Emerging Concern Team.  Kim previously spent much of her career with the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality, Division of Water Resources where she served as the first Emerging Compounds Coordinator.  Kim holds an M.S. in Water Resources Management from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and a B.S. in Geology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dr Brad Clarke is currently a Senior Lecturer at the University of Melbourne (Australia). Brad’s research focusses on assessing the risk to public health and the environment from persistent organic pollutants (POPs). Prior to joining the University of Melbourne, Brad was the Program manager for the Environmental Science degree at RMIT University and has held postdoctoral positions at Imperial College London and the University of Arizona. Brad is the founder and chief investigator at the Australian Laboratory for Emerging Contaminants (ALEC).

Matt is an environmental sustainability professional with ten years’ experience with Sustainability Victoria, and more than 20 years' experience across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors with a particular focus delivering a best practice waste and recycling sector that brings true circularity to our material usage.

With 15+ years of contaminated land industry experience, Hailey is an approved contaminated land auditor (QLD) and principal environmental scientist at Easterly Point Environmental based in beautiful Byron Bay. Her mission: forming amicable relationships to help solve complex problems and leave a cleaner, safer environment, while empowering women into leadership roles within this dirty but dynamic industry.

Vasyl Myroshnychenko resumed the functions of the Ambassador of Ukraine to Australia on April 1, 2022.

Between May 2021 and July 2022, Vasyl served as a member of the Supervisory Board of the Ukrainian Institute, a cultural diplomacy outfit of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

Prior to joining the Foreign Service, he was an active business and civil society leader in Ukraine.

From 2006 to 2022, he was a Partner at CFC Big Ideas, a Kyiv-based strategic communications company. He has 20 years of experience advising clients on corporate communications, public affairs and reputation management. Vasyl advised many multinational companies and domestic industry leaders across various sectors.
